Enabling Local User uploads to a folder:
To enable Local User media asset uploads to go to a specific folder, when creating their account within the desire network, you can select a folder from the dropdown menu for the “If you select a folder, all media uploaded by this user will be added to that folder automatically …” option.
Please Note
When assigning a folder to a Local User, they will be able to see all media assets added within that folder, no matter who uploaded them.
You can also enable this once the Local User has been created by navigating to the their details on the user manager (Settings > Users) and selecting the folder from the same dropdown as above.
In addition, in order to enable Local Users to have access to all assets within a different folder, you will need to tag the Local User with the same tag that has been given to the folder. A Local User can have multiple tags added to gain access to multiple folders.
