The following guide will help you to upload your first media assets to your Signagelive Network. Before you begin, we recommend you read through the following steps if you need help. We’ve broken the guide down into different stages to give you the best possible guidance on completing this process without issue.

Step 1: Requirements before you add your Media

The following list of things you will need before you upload media:

  • Please log into your Signagelive Account according to the instructions in this guide.

  • When going through the process, you must have some supported media that you wish to upload to your local computer.

Step 2: How to upload media in Signagelive?

To begin the process of uploading media, please follow these steps:

  • When logged in to your Signagelive Network, select the Content menu.

  • From the Content menu drop-down, please select Playlists.

  • You will now need to select Create / Edit from the menu that appears; you will then be taken into the Playlist Creator area.

  • From within the Playlist Creator, press the blue + button (top left area)

  • From the drop-down menu that now appears, please select Media Asset Upload

  • A Media Upload modal will now appear, and you will need to select your desired media to be uploaded by following one of these two options:

    • Option 1 - Drag and drop the content from your local computer into the available area in the modal.

    • Option 2 - Alternatively, you can click on this same area and use File Explorer to select the content you wish to upload.

  • Whichever option you select, when ready, tick the checkbox to confirm "I confirm I have permission from the content owner to use and distribute these assets."

  • Once you have done this, the media will begin uploading to your Signagelive network, and the upload Modal will show you the progress of this process.

  • The upload Modal will remain shown until the process is completed.

Step 3: What media asset types are supported?

The following webpage will guide you through the different media asset types that can be used with Signagelive and the many different Media Player devices that our solution can work with. Signagelive can work with a wide array of media types. However, it is worth remembering to ensure your actual Media Player can support those asset types, too, when going through this process.
