Notifications in Signagelive allow you to stay informed about your Signagelive Network via email. This article will summarise the types of notifications available, how to set them and the difference between system default notifications and additional notifications available as a part of the Proactive Monitoring module/add-on.

Accessing your Signagelive Network Notification Settings
Once you have set the notifications on your individual Signagelive account, you can then choose which of these notifications you'd like users on your Signagelive Network to be able to receive by accessing the Global Signagelive Network Notification Settings.
Select Settings
From the drop-down menu, select My Network Notifications
Upon accessing this menu, you'll be presented with notification flags for the entire network, which you can turn on or off.
Please Note
Disabling/unchecking any of the options below will result in no notifications being sent for any user on the associated Signagelive Network (even if they have these Notification settings enabled in their User Notification Settings)
Receive Network Update Notifications
Receive Licence Update Notifications
Receive Content based Proactive Monitoring Alerts*
Receive Connection based Proactive Monitoring Alerts*
Alerts with * only apply to Signagelive Networks with Proactive Monitoring enabled.
If you’re an administrator and have Granular User Permissions enabled on your Signagelive Network, you can also configure the above-listed preferences on a user-by-user case as opposed to for the entire Network. To do so:
Click on Settings
Select Users
Select the user you'd like to edit the global preferences for
Click on the Notifications tab
Setting your Working Hours
Before or after configuring your Notification preferences, you can set your Working Hours. This dictates how notifications will be sent to you. Here, you can configure your notification times and contact method, which includes Emails and SMS.
To access the Working Hours of your Signagelive Profile:
Click on the Profile icon (👤) located in the top right-hand side of the Signagelive platform
Click Profile from the drop-down menu
Click the Working Hours tab
Please Note
You will need to have Proactive Monitoring enabled for working hours to affect your network and to receive SMS notifications. SMS notifications are specifically for Proactive Monitoring: "Connectivity Status" and "Content Status" alerts.
Additional Information
Vital Updates (Network Notification Preferences): At least one active user on your network must have this notification flag set to 'Every Time'. This ensures critical platform information is always received.
Default Settings for New Users: By default, all notifications are enabled for users when a new user is created or an existing user is added to your network.
Hierarchy of Settings: If you do not allow a specific notification type in your Network Notification Preferences, it will not be sent to your account, even if it is enabled at a Network level for individual users. This means the Network Notification Preferences can override individual user settings for disallowing notifications.
