Requirements before you begin

  • Webhook Notifications enabled on your Signagelive Network

  • Proactive Monitoring enabled on your Signagelive Network (if you want to include Proactive Monitoring alerts in your Zaps)

  • You must be an administrator on your Signagelive Network in order to enable this particular Zapier integration

Using the Signagelive Webhook Notification Trigger Event in Zapier, you can incorporate Signagelive Webhook data into your Zapier Zaps. Here’s how:

Setup

  1. Create a new Zap (or select an existing Zap) within Zapier, add a new step and search for Signagelive in the Integrations list, and then add it to your Zap

  2. Select New Webhook Notification from the Trigger Event drop-down menu

  3. Log into your Signagelive account in the Account field, you’ll then be presented with a list of the Signagelive Networks you have access to

  4. Select your desired Signagelive Network from the list

  5. Click Authorize to provide Zapier with the relevant access permissions to your Signagelive Network

  6. Press Continue

Configure

  1. Enter the corresponding Network ID for the Signagelive Network you selected in the previous step

  2. Press Continue

Test

  1. Press Test Trigger, this will run the test and then present you with a list of all possible data you can capture

  2. Select the record from the Test Trigger and click Continue with Selected Record.

And that’s it! You’ll now have Signagelive Proof of Play data returning within Zapier, that you can use alongside other applications.

Please Note

You can only have one Zap that includes Signagelive Webhooks per Signagelive Network. Creating a new Zap with Signagelive Webhooks whilst you already have one in place (linked to the same Signagelive Network) will result in your older Zap no longer working.

What Webhook data is available?

  • Publish Request Status - when a new schedule is published to a Player

  • Publish Refinement Status - when an already published Playlist or Layout is edited or if the Player Config is updated

  • Player Config Write Request Status - when a Config Write takes place

  • Player Activity - when the Player sends activity back to Signagelive

  • Proactive Monitoring - works in the same way as our Proactive Monitoring module, sends notifications similar to the SMS or email notifications, but via Webhook

  • Licence Activity - when a Licence is activated or deactivated

Please Note

If you want to make use of multiple Webhook instances, we recommend creating a single Zap that makes use of Paths by Zapier, this will allow you segment multiple pieces of Webhook data into different paths that can carry out different actions.
