Requirements before you begin:
You must have a Samsung remote control
The factory reset option for Samsung is not in the regular settings menu and can only be reached through the "POWER OFF" button on the Samsung remote.
Firstly, switch the device to a different source, e.g. HDMI or PC Input.
Press the "POWER OFF" button on the remote and immediately start pressing Mute > 1 > 8 > 2, followed by the button depicting the Power On Icon.
The player should now boot up into the system menu, where you can select the option to Factory Reset.
