How do I reset Signagelive on my D and E range Player?

To reset our Signagelive application on Samsung D and E range Players, you will need to follow the below instructions:

  1. Deactivate the licence you have associated with the Samsung device (from within the Signagelive application).

  2. With the device powered on, please click Home > Change URL and enter: http://go.smartlfd.com/v2/reset

  3. Once set, click OK and then Done, then click Home > URL Launcher

  4. You will now hopefully see 4-5 lines of white text information. It does not matter what is stated within this text, just that it is shown. If it is, please proceed.

  5. Please now click Home > URL Launcher and enter the player specific URL (you can find the correct URL by finding your displays relevant config article here)

  6. You can now click OK and Done, then click Home > URL Launcher

  7. Signagelive will now install and you will be presented with the Settings screen shortly.

How do I reset Signagelive on my C range Player?

To reset our Signagelive application on Samsung C range Players, you will need to follow the instructions below:

  1. Put http://clients.signagelive.com/samsungsoc/v2/reset.html into the LFD launcher as the URL and start the panel.

  2. This application will remove all traces of Signagelive so that the application can be installed again.

  3. Please note that the licence on the Signagelive cloud will need to be deactivated to enable the SSSP to be reconnected to Signagelive.

Please Note

Failure to deactivate the licence in Step 1 will prevent you from being able to get an Activation Code.

How can I reset Signagelive on my F, H, or J range Tizen Player?

In the latest Tizen release, the application can be reset by simply clearing the contents using the instructions below:

  1. Deactivate the licence you have associated with the Samsung device (from within the Signagelive application).

  2. Press the Menu button on the remote control

  3. Select System

  4. Select General

  5. Select Empty Storage

  6. Press Confirm

Please Note

Failure to deactivate the licence in Step 1 will prevent you from being able to get an Activation Code.

Please Note

If you have an F series with firmware below 2020.5, you will need to use the reset app to fully reset the player. Guide below.

To reset the app on an F series with firmware below 2020.5

  1. Deactivate the licence you have associated with the Samsung device (from within the Signagelive application).

  2. Press the Home key on the remote control

  3. Select URL Launcher Options

  4. Enter the URL: http://clients.signagelive.com/samsungsoc/latest/v4/reset and press Okay to continue. The reset app will install and start

  5. Wait for the installer to run and show a completion message on the screen
