This article should be used as a guide to assist you with setting up your Samsung Tizen B, F, H, J, N, and R Series displays to work with Signagelive.
The instructions will take you through installing and configuring Signagelive from the displays out of the box state. If you have any issues during the process, please speak with our Support or Sales team for further advice.
Requirements before you begin
A supported Samsung Tizen device
A Samsung remote control
Connected USB Keyboard (optional)
Connection to either a wired or wireless network.
How do I install Signagelive on my Samsung Tizen F, H, J, N, and R Series display?
Important Note
We recommend ensuring that your Samsung Tizen display is using the latest available Firmware before installing Signagelive. You can learn more about this in this Help Centre article

Text instructions for the installation and configuration of your Samsung F, H, J, N, and R Series (Tizen) display can be found below:
Power on your Tizen display
Select the Language in which to proceed (press OK to continue)
Choose the Display Orientation (leave as landscape and press OK to continue)
Disable Auto Power Off mode (press OK to continue)
Confirm Network Access, or configure wireless network (press OK to continue)
Set Display Local Date and Time (press OK to continue)
Select URL Launcher* (press OK to continue)
Enter or choose a display name (press OK to continue)
Press the Home / Content button on the remote control
Select URL Launcher Settings
Select Install Web App
Enter Signagelive Player URL (found in this section of this article) (select OK to continue) (Note: the 'h' in http needs to be lowercase)
Select URL Launcher*
Within the Signagelive Settings menu, set the Timezone of the display (press down arrow on remote to continue)
Select Display Rotation, if any (press down arrow on remote to continue)
Select Video Rotation, if any (press down arrow on remote to continue)
Activate Remote Firmware Updates (press down arrow on remote to continue)
Save settings
Finally, in the OSD section in the main menu: Set the Screen Auto Protection to 'Off'
Is the install URL not working?
Here are some things to watch out for when attempting to install Signagelive:
Ensure you're entering the URL in the URL Launcher and not in the Web Browser of your device
If you're entering the URL with the prefix HTTPS (recommended), your network security settings may require you to set the prefix to HTTP instead.
Signagelive for Samsung Tizen Installation URLs
In the tables below, you will find the relevant URLs that will need to be entered in either the URL Launcher or the Play Via areas on your Samsung Tizen display. Be sure that the URL you use corresponds with the Signagelive instance you typically log into.

Important Note
If you do not see the URL Launcher then your panel may be set to run MagicInfo (by default). To rectify this, please follow the steps in this article.
How do I install Signagelive on my Samsung Tizen B Series display?
Power on your Tizen display
Select the Language in which to proceed (press OK to continue)
Set up your wireless or wired internet connection
Click Skip to your “Smart Signage Privacy Notice”
On the “Installation Type screen”, select “Basic Setup”
On the Auto Power Off screen, select “Off” to disable the Auto Power Off mode (press OK to continue)
On the “Play via” screen, select “Custom App” for your player type and enter the Signagelive Player URL (found in this section of this article), then select OK to continue. (Note: the 'h' in http needs to be lowercase)
Skip the “Connect to RM server” screen
Select the correct Current time and date
Set your Pin, it will default to “000000” if ignored
Click done
Once the app is installed it will give you your unique six digit activation code
Please Note
If you wish to run your Tizen Player in portrait orientation, you can use our Portrait App instead. To do so, use the relevant portrait URL for the Signagelive instance you're installing your Tizen on as found in this section of this article.
Your player will now launch Signagelive and after downloading its content, will show the Signagelive activation code. This should then be activated on your Signagelive Network using one of your active licences and when the player next successfully performs its content check, you’ll see the green tick appear to let you know the display has been successfully connected to Signagelive.
