Permission Sets is an enhancement to our Granular User Permissions module, which ties together closely aligned permissions into a “set” that can be applied to individual Users, User Groups or User Roles.

Where this feature becomes even more powerful is that you can create your own Permission Sets, which will provide you with even more flexibility and granular control over what permissions are defined in each Permission Set.
