Why would I deactivate a Licence?
Normally, we find that people will deactivate a Player if they wish to switch a player registered against a licence. This could be in the case of a faulty player, which might need swapping for another unit, for instance.
In which case, you would need to deactivate the current Player and activate the new Player against the now deactivated licence.
How can I deactivate my licence?
There are two ways that you can deactivate a Licence, follow either of these sets of instructions to access a Player's licence information:
Login to your Signagelive Network as an Administrator
Select Settings
Select Licences
Select the licence that you wish to deactivate (click on its 16 digit licence code)
Select Deactivate
Select OK to confirm
You’ll be taken back to the Licence Manager where you will see this licence now listed as deactivated and shown in amber.
You can also deactivate the licence attached to a Player by accessing it via the Player Manager’s licence tab. To do this, follow these steps:
Login to your Signagelive Network as an Administrator
Select Network
Select Manage
Select the Player that you wish to deactivate
Select the Licence tab
Select Deactivate
