Understanding the Status of Players

Within your Signagelive Network, many ways exist to identify your Players' current connectivity and content status (e.g., devices, screens, etc.). The following article will guide you through the types of information you have readily available to use.

Understanding Overall Player Status from the Player Dashboard

From the Player Dashboard, the following status information can be found at the top, and it will show you high-level information about all Players combined:

Active Licensed Players

These metrics show the current status of your Players - Active, Deactivated, or Expired.

Players checking in correctly

These metrics show the current totals of Players that are either connecting or not connecting to our Signagelive service.

These metrics show how many Players currently have, or are missing, your latest scheduled content.

With latest Content

Renewal Due

These metrics show how many Players are due for licence renewal in the upcoming time period options on the Player Dashboard

Understanding Individual Player Status from the Player Dashboard

From the Player Dashboard, the following status information can be found for each and every Player that is activated to your Signagelive Network:

Content Status

This shows you the overall content status of your Player — including whether all published content has been successfully downloaded.

Reboot

This metric shows when your Player was last rebooted, so you can keep track of any recent restarts.

(Seconds, Minutes, Hours, Days, Months, Years)

Content Check

This metric shows you when the last Content Check was performed. This is when your Player connects to our service to check if new content scheduling needs to be downloaded.

Health Check

This metric shows you when the last Health Check was performed. This is when your Player connects to our service to confirm that it's operational and working well.

CPU

This metric shows the last recorded percentage of CPU Usage that your Player uses regarding the underlying hardware.

This metric shows the last recorded percentage of Player Memory usage.

This metric shows the last recorded percentage of Player Disk space being used.

This metric shows your Player's last recorded temperature.
