You will need to have some supported Media that you wish to upload
Once you have created your Signagelive Network, added the required licences, users and players, you can begin uploading your own media, or using what is readily available within the Signagelive Marketplace. In this article we will show you how to upload your first media content so you can begin to create and publish your Playlists.
How do I add my first media?
The following steps will help you upload your first media content to your network:
When logged in to your Signagelive Network, select the Content menu.
Please select Playlist from the drop-down menu.
Please now select Create / Edit from the menu.
Press the Add Media button (blue button with +)
From the drop-down menu please select Media Asset Upload
You can now select your desired media by dragging and dropping content into the upload area from your PC local folders OR click in the upload area to open a direct link to your file explorer and select your content to add to the upload queue. Note the maximum individual file size you can upload to Signagelive is 3GB.
When ready, tick the checkbox to confirm you have permission to use and distribute the content.
Once you have done this, the media will begin uploading to your Signagelive network.
Please note
When uploading your media you can minimize the uploader window at any time and if you do you will see the status is shown (as a percentage) as well as notifications for each successful (or otherwise) upload
If you are uploading lots of media in terms of size, then this can sometimes take a while based on the speed of your connection but you can always navigate around the user interface during this process to ensure you can work on other things.
