How to configure the Network and Auto-Standby Options on my Samsung Player

The configuration of the SSSP is a fairly simple process and should only consist of setting the Signagelive URL. However, there are some items to be aware of that may occur:

  • The network sometimes needs to be configured manually on the panel

  • Auto Standby needs to be switched off

How do I configure the Network on my C, D, E, or F (Tizen) range display?

  • Select an input such as HDMI, DVI, TV, PC, etc

  • Press Menu

  • Select Network

  • Follow the wizard

  • Switch the SSSP off and on

How do I disable auto standby on my D, E, or F (Tizen) range display?

All the following settings are under the System Menu when the menu button is pressed (this can also be accessed via Home button then More Settings). Ensure the following settings are configured:

  • Auto Source Switching - Auto Source Switching - Off

  • Power Control - Auto Power On - On

  • Eco Solution - Energy Saving - Off

  • Eco Solution - Screen Lamp Schedule - Off

  • Eco Solution - No Signal Power Off - Off

  • Eco Solution - Auto Power Off - Off

How do I disable auto standby on my C range display?

  • Select an input such as HDMI, DVI, TV, PC, etc

  • Press Menu

  • Go into the System Menu

  • Select General

  • Set Standby Control Off

  • Switch the SSSP off and on
