Important Note

The Legacy PC version of the Signagelive application is no longer available for new device installations. If you're looking to use a new Windows device with Signagelive, please make sure you have purchased a supported device which will come pre-installed with the new Signagelive for Windows client.

We are often asked by our users whether the hardware they have will be suitable for using our software. The answer to this question is dependent on the type of media content and design features you wish to use, so if you are wanting to just show still images then you can use a lower specification player; whereas layouts with multiple tickers and video will require a higher specification.

Please Note

Our Legacy PC client is not supported on Windows 11 in both new and existing installations of Signagelive. We recommend purchasing an approved device or contacting our Support Team regarding having a custom image created for your desired use case.

The minimum level of specification would be:

  • Operating System - Windows 10 or Embedded Versions.

  • Processor and Speed - 1.6 GHz single-core processor or higher. (x86)

  • RAM - 1GB

Please Note

It is possible to still use Windows XP Service Pack 3 beyond the 31st December 2015. However, this is the date that our support for this product will cease. The following Windows XP Article will clarify the situation for you.

A preferred level of specification would be:

  • Operating System - Windows 10 (32bit or 64bit)

  • Processor and Speed - 2.0 GHz dual-core processor or higher. (x86 or x86-64)

  • RAM - 4GB or higher

Please Note

Like any desktop software application, you must have administrator rights on your computer to install Signagelive. If you are in a work environment where you do not have these rights or are unsure of this, please contact your IT department for assistance.
