If a member of our Signagelive Team is helping you with an issue or training session and needs access to your Network, you can use the Grant Network Access feature to provide them with the appropriate access level for a set period of time. This will allow us to log into your Network and assist you until the access window expires. After that, we won’t be able to access your Network again until a new access request is granted.

Before June 2023, the Signagelive Team could access Signagelive Networks without needing to request access. This change was made following the release of Hierarchies and a focus on improving security practices.
Managing Signagelive Network Access
There are several ways to grant a member of our Support Team access to your Signagelive Network. The option you choose will depend on your permission level and the type of access request.
Below are the different levels of access you can provide and when to use them:
| This option allows you to raise an access request for your Network to be authorized. Network Access Requests can be created by any user on a Signagelive Network or by the Signagelive Team without special permission.
Once the request is approved by an Administrator or a user with the “Manage Signagelive Network Access Requests” permission (if you have the Granular User Permissions module enabled), our Support Team will be able to access the Network for a chosen time frame and permission level. |
| If you are an Administrator or have the “Enable Signagelive Network Access” permission (with the Granular User Permissions module enabled), you can immediately grant the Signagelive Team indefinite access to your Network using this option. |
| If you are an Administrator or have the “Provide Permission for Signagelive Access” permission enabled (with the Granular User Permissions module), enabling this option will allow our Support Team to grant themselves access to your Network for 24 hours at a time, whenever needed. This option is ideal if you have an open ticket with us and may require frequent re-access to your Network for ongoing issues. |
