This guide provides a straightforward, step-by-step process for renewing an active player licence using a 16-digit renewal code. The process involves two main parts: first, adding the renewal code to your network, and then applying it to a specific player.
β Before You Begin: A Quick Checklist
To ensure a smooth process, please have the following ready:
Your 16-digit Renewal Code: You should have received this from your Signagelive reseller or our sales team. If you don't have it yet, please get in touch with them first.
Administrator Access: You must be logged into your Signagelive Network with an Administrator account.
The Two-Step Renewal Process
Renewing is simple. First, you'll add the code to your network's "licence bank." Then, you'll apply that renewal to your chosen player.
Part 1: Add the Renewal Code to Your Network
This step makes your new renewal licence available for use on your network.
Log in to your Signagelive Network.
From the main menu, navigate to Settings, then select Licences.
In the top-left of the Licence Manager, click the blue + (Add) button.
Enter your 16-digit renewal code in the window that appears.
Click Add Licences.
Confirmation: Your renewal is now successfully added to your network and is ready to be applied to a player.
Part 2: Apply the Renewal to a Player
Now you can assign the renewal to extend a specific player's licence expiry date.
From the Licence Manager page, click on the active player you wish to renew.
Now click the green Renew button.
π‘ Don't see the green 'Renew' button? This simply means there are no available renewal licences on your network yet. Please complete Part 1 of this guide to add your new Licence code first. If you still do not see the licence, please get in touch with our support team, as we will need to assist from here.
Use the drop-down menus to select the renewal licence you wish to use and confirm the duration.
Click the final Renew button to apply it.
How to Confirm the Renewal Was Successful
You can instantly verify that the renewal was applied correctly. After completing Part 2, the Expiry Date for that player in the Licence Manager list will update to the new, future date. You may need to refresh your browser page to see the change.
