What is Recurrence?

Recurrence allows you to stipulate which day/s an asset will play on and at which times. This is within the boundaries of the playlists published schedule, for instance, you can publish a playlist to run all day, every day, but have recurrence set on an asset controlling the time and day/s that it will display on.

How can I set recurrence for one Playlist Media Asset?

You can add recurrence to any of the assets within your playlist. To add recurrence to an individual asset, follow these simple steps:

  1. Log in to your Signagelive Network as a User or an Administrator

  2. Select Content

  3. select Playlist

  4. Select Create/ Edit

  5. Drag asset/s to the playlist area

  6. Double click to access an asset's properties

  7. Select the Recurrence tab

  8. Set the start and end recurrence range

  9. Select OK

How can I set recurrence for multiple Playlist Media Assets?

You can also set the recurrence for multiple items at once by following these steps when using the playlist creator in its vertical view:

  1. Log in to your Signagelive Network as a User or an Administrator

  2. Select Content

  3. select Playlist

  4. Select Create/ Edit

  5. Drag multiple items into playlist from your asset library

  6. Tick check boxes for all the items you wish to set recurrence for

  7. Select the Properties box above playlist

  8. Select Recurrence

  9. Set the start and end date/ time

  10. Select OK
