What is Validity?
Validity allows you to set a time and date range that each asset within your playlist will play within. This is within the boundaries of the playlist published schedule, for instance, you can publish a playlist to run all day every day, but have validity set on an asset controlling the time and date range each particular asset will display within.

How can I set the validity for one Playlist Media Asset?
You can add validity to any of the assets within your playlist. To add validity to an individual asset, follow these simple steps:
Log in to your Signagelive Network as a User or an Administrator
Select Content
select Playlist
Select Create/ Edit
Drag asset/s to the playlist area
Double click to access an asset's properties
Select the Validity tab
Set the start and end validity range
Select OK
Save your Playlist
How can I set the validity for multiple Playlist Media Assets?
You can also set the Validity for multiple items at once by following these steps when using the playlist creator in its vertical view:
Log in to your Signagelive Network as a User or an Administrator
Select Content
select Playlist
Select Create/ Edit
Add multiple Assets to your Playlist
Tick checkboxes for all the items you wish to set validity for
Select the Properties box above playlist
Select Validity
Set the start and end date/ time
Select OK
