How to filter your Power BI Reports

Just like in Power BI, you can now filter your reports and dashboards directly within the Data Integrations application in Signagelive! This allows you to filter at the report level, page level, and even visual level.

Follow these steps to apply your filters:

  1. Open Data Integrations: Go to the Data Integrations application.

  2. Select Your Sync Job: Under "My Integrations," choose Power BI. Then, click on the name of the specific Sync Job you want to filter (or click the three dots ... next to it and select "Edit").

  3. Expand Filters Pane: At the bottom of the "Overview" tab, you'll see a preview of your dashboard or report. To the far right of this preview, you'll find a Filters pane – click on it to expand it.

  4. Apply Filters: With the Filters pane open, click on the data sets you wish to filter. You'll see the data in your preview update instantly.

    • To edit filters at the visual level: Click directly on any visual within your report/dashboard preview, then open the Filters pane.

  5. Save Your Changes: Press the Save button at the top of the screen. Your filtered data will appear the next time your report syncs.

  6. Reset Filters: At any time, you can click the Reset Report button to revert all applied filters back to their original default states.
