When using the Proof of Play application you will find that the data will only be stored for a certain number of days, which will likely be 30, 60 or 90 days. After your storage exceeds this number of days the actual data will be deleted, however the reports which have been created and contain this data will remain available and are never deleted.
Please Note: All of the Proof of Player files are stored in Amazon AWS.
If you are interested in how much logs will be stored in relation to the amount of active Players you have on your network using Proof of Play, then the following table will be of use to you:
No of Players | 1 | 100 | 500 | 1000 |
Logs Per Minute | 6 | 600 | 3,000 | 6,000 |
Logs Per Hour | 360 | 36,000 | 180,000 | 360,000 |
Logs Per Day | 8.640 | 864,000 | 4,320,000 | 8,640,000 |
Logs for Month (Average 30 Days) | 259,200 | 25,920,000 | 129,600,000 | 259,200,000 |
Logs Per Year | 3,110,400 | 311,040,000 | 1,555,200,000 | 3,110,400,000 |
As an example of file sizes, if a Player is logging impressions every 10 seconds for 24 hours, the CSV file size is roughly 800kb's.
