How does it work with Signagelive?
Signagelive has developed a range of Apps that allow you to display video delivered via the IBM Cloud video platform on your displays.
We have two Apps:
IBM Cloud Video - Samples Stream App - includes a sample of feeds for you to try
IBM Cloud Video - Public Stream App - allows you to display any Public Stream.

How do I use the IBM Cloud Video Samples App?
To use the App, you will need to follow the steps below:
Log in to Signagelive as a User or Administrator
Select Content
Select Playlist
Select Create / Edit
Select the + button
Select ‘From the Marketplace’
Search for IBM Cloud Video or use the Video Stream link from the Tags section.
Select the App named IBM Cloud Video (Sample) and click ‘Add’
This will add it to your Signagelive asset library
Add the App to a playlist
Double click to view the Properties and select a feed to view from the list
Save your playlist and publish as normal (note your player will auto-update if the playlist is already published).
What is the IBM Cloud Video Public Stream App?
The “Public Stream” App allows you to select and view any publicly available stream.
Its setup is a little more complicated than the sample one as you will need to find the Channel Id within IBM Cloud video, to do that, follow these simple steps:
How do I access a Public Stream?
Navigate to http://www.ustream.tv/
Select Watch from the main menu
Select a channel (small icon in the bottom right of each channel description)
Select the Share icon in the bottom right of the video
Select “Copy Link”
Note the channel id from the URL (just the numbers at the end)
How do I use the Public Stream app?
Login to Signagelive as a User or Administrator
Select Content
Select Playlist
Select Create / Edit
Select the + button
Select ‘From the Marketplace’
Search for IBM Cloud Video or use the Video Stream link from the Tags section.
Select the App names IBM Cloud Video (Public) and click ‘Add’
This will add it to your Signagelive asset library
Add the App to a playlist
Double click to view the Properties and end the channel Id you noted in the text box labeled Channel Id
Save your playlist and publish as normal (note you player will auto-update if the playlist is already published).
