Please Note

The Synchronisation feature is not supported across all Player types, be sure to check for your chosen Players in the supported features article before continuing.

To display synchronized content on your screens (whether the same or different content at the same time), start by adding your players to a Sync Group. This is the first step in getting everything working together smoothly.

Here's how to get started:

  1. Log in to your Signagelive account (as a User or Administrator).

  2. Go to Network.

  3. Select Sync Groups.

For a quick guide, watch this video below on creating your first Sync Group.

Please Note

Sync Groups only work with displays on the same Local Area Network (LAN) and require content of the same length and duration. To ensure everything stays in sync, ensure all devices in the Sync Group have the same hardware and software settings for optimal playback.

Once your Sync Groups are set up, you can start creating your content. Simply create playlists with the same number of video assets, ensuring each one has the exact same duration. Each display can have its own playlist with different content, but the duration must match.

For a step-by-step guide, watch this video on creating a Playlist:

What content can I synchronise?

It's worth noting that only video content can be synchronised across multiple players. If you have any other type of content within your Playlists, this may disrupt the synchronisation.

How do I publish the Synchronised content to my Players?

Finally, you should publish these Playlists to each of the Players within your newly created Sync Group. Watch this video to learn more about the Publish process:

Once your content is published, it will play on all players in your Sync Group as soon as the last player has finished downloading its content.

To publish your content, follow these steps:

  • Log in to your Signagelive Network.

  • Go to Content.

  • Click Publish.

  • Choose As a Schedule.

  • Set the start and end times for your schedule.

  • Select the Playlist you wish to publish

  • Choose which players to publish the content and schedule to.

  • Click Publish.
