If you find yourself in a situation where you do not have access to your authenticator app or your recovery codes, you will need to regain access to your account so you can disable 2FA. You will then be able to re-enable this and pair your Signagelive account with a new authenticator app should you wish.

You'll need to log in with 2FA or a recovery code in order to disable 2FA, so you'll firstly need an Administrator permit you temporary access to your Signagelive Network without 2FA. You'll then be able to log in and generate new recovery codes.

Please see this video for steps on how to log in and disable 2FA (you'll need an administrator from your Signagelive Network to assist you with this):

How to permit temporary access to Signagelive without 2FA

  1. Log in as an administrator into Signagelive

  2. Head to Settings > Users and select the user you wish to permit temporary access to

  3. Look for the This user does not need to log in with 2FA to access this network for the next drop-down menu

  4. Select the time-frame you would like to allow access for the user from the drop-down then click Save

Once enabled, the user will be able to access their Signagelive account without being prompted for 2FA for the selected duration of time. During this time, they can generate new Recovery Codes should they wish, which can be used to login once the timeframe expires. Only once a user has logged in with 2FA or a Recovery Code will they be able to disable and re-enable 2FA.
