Once you have configured Power BI within the Data Integrations application (see the steps do so so here if you haven't done so already), you can begin pushing this data to your screens using the Microsoft Power BI Widget. This article will detail how to you can go about adding the Widget to your content library and begin using this Widget in your Playlists.

Adding the Power BI App to your Signagelive Network

First, you will need to locate the Power BI App within the Marketplace and add it to your network.

If you’re unsure where to find the Marketplace, or how you can add the content within to your network, please see this guide.

How to Set Up the Power BI App

You can configure the Power BI App within your library, or you can drag it into a Playlist. From there you can double-click on the App to open its properties.

Upon opening this you'll notice a Power BI drop-down menu which will allow you to select any of your pre-configured Power BI integrations from within the Data Integrations application. Note that if you have not yet done this, you will not get any options from the drop-down menu.

  • Select the Power BI Dashboard you wish to pull into your Widget from the Power BI drop-down menu

  • Press the Refresh button - you should now see a preview of how your Dashboard will look

  • Press OK then save your Playlist

That’s it! You can save your Playlist to update, and go to the Publish section to make it live across your screens.

Please Note

Power BI will not work on LG WebOS 2, Tizen 2.4, or Philips D Line.
