We know this issue impacts using Samsung Tizen, Sync, and Nested/Local Playlists; we have a short-term workaround. Our Development Team is prioritizing a fix for our next Tizen Client 1.32, scheduled for a January 2025 release.
The Issue
Our Technical Team is aware of the issue affecting Samsung Tizen, Sync, and Nested/Local Playlists. When this combination of configurations is added, synchronisation will not work as you expect and, therefore, experience an issue.
Met Criteria:
Synchronisation will not work when the following elements are used in combination:
Samsung Tizen Player (Any version)
Sync (As configured through Signagelive)
Nested or Local Playlists (Client Side Feeds)
The Immediate Solution
For now, the best solution is to remove the use of Nested and Local Playlists from your scheduling. This will ensure that content synchronization works smoothly without any issues.
Overall Solution
