As per our article on our Supported ChromeOS Versions, Signagelive aligns with the Google Support policy and only supports the version in the Long Term Support (LTS) channel.

To change your device to Long Term Support (LTS) on the Chrome Management Console please follow these instructions:

Setting the Update Channel on the Chrome Console:

  1. Please go to the Google Admin page to login via admin.google.com

  2. When logged in, please use the menus to go to Devices > Chrome > Settings > Device

  3. On the left-hand side menu, please now click on the organisational unit you want to configure.

  4. Under Device Settings navigate to Device Update settings to enforce a policy against ChromeOS devices.

  5. Under auto-update settings > release channel, change this to Long-term Support Channel (LTS).

  6. change the dropdown for “Restrict Google Chrome version to at most” to be the Long-term Support version.

  7. Please now save your changes.
