Content upload approval
Approvals give content approvers the ability to ensure that content uploaded ready to add to playlists has been reviewed and approved by a trusted user. Admins will be able to define “Approvers” who will have the ability to approve or deny content from those users and the users whose operations require approval.
Enabling Approvals for your network
To enable approvals go to your settings drop-down and select “Approvals”. If you would like to enable approvals for all users, you will need to tick “Adding Media” and “Requires Approval for all users”
If you do not require all users to go through the approval process, you can enable approval restrictions on user by user basis.
Setting individual Approver Users
To set up approvals for individual users, go to the Settings drop-down and select “Users”. You will see a secondary tab next to “User details” called “Approvals”. From there you can configure whether their uploads require approval.
Setting Approvers
To enable new approvers on your network, go to “Approvals” under the settings tab. Under the “Operations to Approve” section, you will see a section called “Approver users”.
Click the blue plus button and select the user you want to become an Approver and select “OK”. This user now has the ability to approve or deny new content being uploaded by users who require uploads to be approved.
