Understanding Asset Validity Indicators


One of our favourite features within the Signagelive (Beta) Application has to be the ability to see the status of each asset within your playlist timeline. 

There are 4 different statuses represented by the same traffic light colour coding system used throughout Signagelive that you're hopefully used to by now. 

A green halo shown around your asset thumbnail means that the content will currently show, there are no validity conditions set on this asset that will stop it showing. Your asset will appear on your playlist timeline as shown below.

A blue halo around your thumbnail means that the asset is not set to begin playing just yet. You may have set a validity for that asset to begin playing in 1 hour or 1 weeks time, but it's sat in your playlist waiting to begin playing.

An amber asset validity indicator means that your content will expire within the next 48 hours.

Finally, a red asset validity indicator shows that the asset has expired.
