As always, we have listened to your feedback and we have been making some improvements to the HTML5 UI.
We have made some significant improvements to the speed that the Player Manager will load, and show results when you perform a search, as well as when you open a player’s details.
Alongside this, we have made the following improvements:
'Has Content?' in Player List
To continue to give you the information you need to know about all of your players in a single view, we have now added an indicator which shows whether the player has its
latest content or not.Player Status Notification Icon
We have added a simple notification icon so that you can see at a glance the status of a player. The notifications available are:
- The player’s licence has expired. (Notification icon will show in red)
- The player is currently deactivated. (Notification icon will show in amber)
- A renewal has been requested for a player. (Notification icon will show in green)
- The player is a trial. (Notification icon will show in blue)
If the player is not in one of these states, the notification icon will not display.
Ability to refresh the Player list and a Player’s details
As the Player Manager continues to have detail added to allow you to monitor and manage your network, we want to make it easier for you to be able to see changes in the state of your players, therefore we have added a refresh button, which will refresh the data for the list of players currently being shown, including any searches you may have performed).
If you are monitoring the status of a single player, then you can also now refresh all of the detail for that player at the press of a button.
Multi selection Improvements in Lists
Up until now, you have only been able to multi select items from a single page within our new HTML5 managers (Asset Manager and Player Manager), but now it is possible to select items across multiple pages, for example, when selecting assets to add to a playlist.
Once you have selected all of the items you want, you can also now view the items selected in a single view, using the new “filter” drop down.
