Think your company's LinkedIn content deserves a bigger stage than just phone and desktop screens? We do too! That's why we're stoked to tell you about Screenfeed's LinkedIn app, which lets you seamlessly bring your LinkedIn company page posts to your Signagelive digital signage. Get ready for effortless, always-fresh content!
Show Off Your Professional Best (Automatically!)
LinkedIn is often where businesses put their best foot forward, sharing updates, insights, and company news. Now, with Screenfeed's new LinkedIn app for digital signage, you can easily showcase this professional content on your screens. The best part? Once you set it up, it's set and forget! Every time you post something new on your LinkedIn company page, it'll automatically update on your signage. Talk about keeping things fresh without lifting a finger!
Got the Social Bundle? You're Already In!
If you're already rocking Screenfeed's social bundle, you've got instant access to this LinkedIn goodness. If not, no worries! You can grab it as a standalone app directly from the Screenfeed website.
Let's See This Magic Happen:
Okay, time to see how easy this is. We're hopping over to the Screen Feed website... (Imagine a smooth transition here)
Once you're logged into your Screen Feed account, you'll see all the feeds you have access to. If you've got the social bundle (like us!), LinkedIn will be right there. Let's create a brand new feed together. Just hit "create a feed."
If you're a Screen Feed pro, the next steps will feel familiar. You get to choose your delivery method (we're going with HTML today, but you've got options like direct URL, JSON, XML, and MRSS). Then, pick your resolution – we're sticking with 16:9 for the screen behind us.
Company Pages Only, Please!
Quick heads-up: this integration works with your company's LinkedIn page, not personal profiles. Just something to keep in mind during setup.
Now, about connecting your LinkedIn account. You could just hit "add or refresh LinkedIn" and log in. But Screen Feed has a seriously smart feature for teams!
Teamwork Makes the Dream Work: Easy Authentication Links
What if you're not the main admin of the LinkedIn page you want to display? No problem! Screen Feed lets you create "authorization links." Head up to "integrations," find LinkedIn, and you can generate a unique link. Send this link to the person who manages the page. Instead of you logging in, they log in through the link and grant access. Once they do, you'll see all the pages they've authorized right in your Screen Feed account. Super secure and collaborative!
But for today, we're going to connect directly. We'll choose our Signagelive Explored page, hit "include," and BAM! You should see a preview of a recent post pop up below.
Customize Your Look & Feel:
Now for the fun part: making it your own! You can tweak the font (we're sticking with our Signagelive Montserrat!), choose how many posts to display (see that video post? We could show two!), and even customize the background with colors and design elements (hello Signagelive blue!).
Want a call to action? Add "Follow Us" or whatever you like. You can also add intro text like "Latest Posts" or a friendly "Welcome." Plus, you've got control over hiding reactions, timestamps, and even just showing text if you want to keep things light on your players. You can even disable animations for less powerful devices.
Pro Tip: This is primary posts only – no reposts will show up. And if you only want posts with media, just toggle "require media." The real-time preview gives you a perfect idea of how it'll look on your screens.
You can also filter posts by age (e.g., only show posts from the last 7 days, with a fallback message if it's a quiet week). Control how many total posts cycle through and how long each one stays on screen (default is 10 seconds).
Because Screen Feed is software-agnostic, these customization options mean you can likely get it looking just right for whatever player you're using, as long as it supports HTML5.
Name It & Get the Link!
Finally, give your feed a name (we'll go with "Joe's test feed two") and hit "create feed." Boom! You get a URL that you can instantly preview in your browser – just like that preview we saw in Screen Feed.
From Screen Feed to Signagelive:
Now that we've got our Screen Feed URL, let's jump over to Signagelive. (Another smooth transition!)
In Signagelive, go to "Content," then "Playlists," and hit that blue plus to add a "Web Page" asset. Paste in your Screen Feed link, give it a name ("Joe's test feed two" again!), and hit "save."
Give it a moment, and you'll see a thumbnail pop up in your recently added. Drag it into your playlist, set your duration (we'll go with a nice long 30 minutes for now), save your playlist ("Joe's LinkedIn feed"), and publish it to your player.
Bonus Alert: Screen Feed & Signagelive Partnership!
While that content is downloading, here's some exciting news: you can now buy Screen Feed bundles and individual apps directly through Signagelive! This means easy access to even more awesome social media integrations (like TikTok and Blue Sky, coming soon!) at a discounted price, thanks to our new partnership. Definitely worth checking out!
And just like that, you can see our LinkedIn feed live on the screen behind us!
Wrapping Up:
Bringing your LinkedIn company page to your digital signage with Signagelive and Screen Feed is a fantastic way to keep your content fresh and engaging. With more social integrations on the horizon, now's a great time to explore the possibilities.
